Recognition at Home and Abroad

It’s always good to get recognition, particularly from fellow professionals. We’re pleased to announce two recent awards received.

The Christian Broadcasting Council (CBC) is an organisation which encourages the proclamation of the gospel through the electronic media. CBC draws its members from churches of all denominations, from both Houses of Parliament and from Christians in broadcasting and the media. At its 2004 Media Awards dinner, our Director of Programmes, Crawford Telfer (above left), was presented with the Gold Award in the category Best Christian Video – Documentary / Factual Programme for CTA’s production “Bartholomew’s Gift”.

At the International Christian Visual Media (ICVM) conference in Atlanta, USA, our Executive Director, Malcolm Turner, (above right) was awarded the 2004 President’s Award. The President’s Award “is given at the sole discretion of the current ICVM President. It seeks to thank a particular individual for contributions ‘above and beyond the call of duty’ to the organisation and thereby recognise excellence in Christian Service.”
