The Shetland Flyer
Eddie Watt ran a successful plumbing business. But an encounter with God on a stormy night changed all that.
Running time: 45 mins.
He became a commercial pilot and ended up taking his family to East Africa where he flew for Mission Aviation Fellowship. Then in 1995 he returned to his native Shetland Isles and has been flying for Loganair ever since.
Eddie is very much part of the island community, and in this documentary we hear of his flying escapades and meet some of his ‘customers’ and friends, including hippies Andy and Sabena Holt-Brook who run the ‘Papa Stour Project’ for those wanting to be free from drugs.
‘A warm hearted look at life on Shetland’.
